Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers very nice rooms with views towards the Firth of Forth in a great location. My weekend stay was quite expensive due to the large volume of people in the dining room at once.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful, with amazing interior design and very clean and elegant. However, they were a bit cramped, and the double glazing didn't quite keep out the outside noise. The staff was quick to address the issue with the radiator not working by providing us with a portable heater. The bathroom was of exceptionally high standard, featuring a huge space and a very powerful shower.
I had a disappointing experience at the hotel. The rooms were overpriced for its size and lack of view, tiny with limited storage space, and potentially a fire hazard with only one escape route. The location was noisy from early morning activities on the back street, making it hard to relax. However, the service was friendly and helpful, enhancing the stay.
The hotel's room was a bit small and dark but faced a nice street. The service was a mix of friendly efficiency and occasional disinterest. Location-wise, it was excellent for exploring Edinburgh's main attractions. The dining experience varied from disappointing to satisfactory. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks but great value for money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The suite we stayed in was excellent in size and comfort, but it turned out to be smaller and noisier than expected. However, the fridge inside the wardrobe was a unique touch. The service was friendly and helpful, although they tended to forget replacing the coffee filters. The location was convenient for walking to most attractions, but the noise from the nearby dustbins was disturbing. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with both exceptional quality and disappointingly cold buffet options. The facilities were adequate for our needs.
Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, which was a definite plus. However, the bathroom didn't quite meet our expectations. The location was excellent, providing easy access to many attractions in Edinburgh. The dining experience was average with some room for improvement, and the service was generally good but had a few minor hiccups. Overall, the value for money was reasonable considering the amenities offered.
The hotel is centrally located near the train station, making it convenient for city activities, but noise from nearby establishments can disturb sleep at night. The rooms, though small and slightly dark, are comfortable overall. The service is mixed with some helpful staff but slow service at the bar. Dining offers a good variety, but some options are priced higher. Great for sightseeing in Edinburgh with easy access to attractions.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, but the room had its drawbacks with noise and views. The service was exceptional, ensuring we were happy throughout our stay. Dining was a mixed bag, with some aspects being great while others fell short.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were nice and comfortable, but I had a noisy night with groups of youngsters outside my window which made it hard to sleep. The service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who even surprised me with a birthday cake in the room. The location couldn't have been more central, but the strict 3 pm check-in time was a bit inconvenient for me. The dining experience wasn't the best, with slow service and some mix-ups in orders. Overall, a mixed experience with some great highlights.
